Supply & Install...

The first step of the process involves speaking with Peter or Ben at the shop or over phone/email. We ask a few questions regarding property type, which room the stove is being installed in and what style of stove/install you are looking for (modern/traditional).

After we have discussed your needs we speak through what is involved and what components are usually needed in your scenario.  From this we are usually able to give a rough estimate on the cost of the job.

The next step involves one of our teams of Hetas fitters carrying out a site assessment, we choose which fitter to use based on who we think best meets your needs. The fitter will take note of all components needed and advise you on what size stove can be legally fitted as well as an option of stoves for you to consider. Once we hear back from the fitter we are able to put together an accurate quote based on the list of items provided. The fitter will also discus options for stone hearths and usually carry's various samples to show you as well as pictures from previous installs. We will talk yourself through the quote and the pros and cons of each stove you are able to choose from.

Once the customer has decided on the stove and other options such as liner grade, hearth material, oaks beams/surrounds and so on we are now able to book you in for an installation date. Once the date is confirmed with ourselves at the shop and the Hetas fitter we order in all of the equipment and have it ready for the fitter to collect on the day of the install.

Once fitted you are advised to leave the stove unlit for a few days until the fitter returns to commission the fire, he will light the fire with fuel supplied from ourselves and show you how to use the stove to its best potential.

In total its quite a lengthy process, ranging from a couple of months from start to finish at our busiest points of the year, and down to only a couple of weeks during the summer months. We ensure everything is completed to the highest of standards using the best components and reliable professional installers.

Supply Only...

If you already have your own fitter or are located out of our fitting area we are happy to advise and supply just the stove. We always check that the stove is right for your needs and that it can be legally fitted in your area. The majority of built up areas are smoke controlled meaning the stove must be Defra Approved.

We also offer supply only of various parts such as chimney pots, cowls, fire boards, flue pipe & liners etc..
